New Patients
Your First Visit
Your initial visit to our clinic is the beginning of a new journey towards better health.
We understand that every person who comes to see us is wondering if we can help them.
When you enter our office, you will be greeted by one of our friendly and caring team members and asked to complete some paperwork to gather information about your current and past state of health.
One of our exam specialists will sit down with you to ask you more questions about your presenting condition and concerns.
Dr David Vecchio or Dr Bernadette Vecchio will then begin their examination of your spine and nervous system examination to assess for any any abnormal alignment or function.
What has been found will be explained to you and how these initial examination findings could be detrimentally affecting health.
If the Doctor has determined that you might be a good candidate for Spinal Structural Correction, the specific Chiropractic approach that we offer, he or she will need to have a better look at the health of your spine and assess and measure the extent of any problems or spinal damage you may have.
Our clinic has on-site digital x-ray imaging and if any imaging studies are necessary to determine if and to what extent you can be helped, they will be performed at this time.
Your Second Visit
We realize that when you go somewhere new for help, you want answers to the following questions:
- Can you help me?
- How long will it take?
- How much will it cost?
At this visit (The Doctors Report), these questions will be answered. You will be given a detailed overview of our specific approach to Chiropractic spinal health care as well as the evidence supporting the work that we do. This takes place in a small group setting with other new patients.
Your doctor will privately review with you the results of your examination in a one-on-one report of findings consultation. You will be shown and explained the details of your spinal X-ray images that were taken and the Doctor will give you their best recommendations for your specific case.
Once you are fully informed, understand the process and give your consent to receiving Chiropractic care in our office, you will receive your first adjustment after your Report of Findings.
We pride ourselves on helping people understand their own health through initial and ongoing education and follow up progress examination and reviews throughout every program of care.
Regular Visits
Once you have decided to start receiving Chiropractic care in our office, you will come for regular adjustment appointments.
A spinal adjustment doesn't take long and we aim to have you in and out of the office in 15 minutes or less for a regular adjustment appointment.
To help track and assess your progress, you will be scheduled in for periodic progress examinations to record and quantify the amount of improvement you experience throughout your program of care.
Upon completion of a program of care, it may be recommended that you have x-rays taken to compare the progress in your spinal health and to determine the best course of action going forward.
